Love doughnuts? Me too!
Hi, I'm Mi Kim and I love doughnuts.
The infatuation started as a young child, spending my weekends and summers helping out at my parents' restaurant. My dad would stop by a local gas station every morning and we'd go in and grab a few for the road. I was so excited to choose the doughnut, deliberating as if it would be the last time I'd ever have one. It didn't matter that it was 4 am or that we had an hour commute ahead of us. I only remember being happily sandwiched between my parents and enjoying the doughnut before drifting off to sleep on my mom's lap.
Fast forward through pastry school, a few restaurant jobs, 10 years at Macrina Bakery and here I am opening Raised Doughnuts.
So #blessed to have such talented and supportive friends that have helped every step of the way! And so grateful to have met an amazing business partner that shares the same passion for doughnuts and Raised!
