COST
All of our cakes are made fresh and to order. We do not offer a full, traditional “wedding cake” service, which allows us to keep pricing consistent with our standard whole cake offerings.
Because of this, we ask couples to come prepared with a clear vision and to provide as much detail as possible when placing an order.
We do not provide custom quotes. All pricing is clearly listed—please calculate your total, including tax, based on the items selected.
TASTINGS
We do not offer traditional cake tastings. However, you are welcome to try our doughnuts and cake slices in the shop—we highly recommend pre-ordering to ensure availability.
Our weekend cake slices are a great way to get a sense of our cake flavors and style. If you’d like to try a specific flavor combination, you may also order a small 4” cake in that combination to sample ahead of time.
CAKE
Our cakes are American in style, made with an oil-based cake, and paired with a Asian-inspired fillings using lightly sweetened whipped cream. Fillings can be customized with additional flavors or fresh fruit.
All cakes are finished with Swiss buttercream, which is lighter and less sweet than traditional American buttercream, while still more structured than the whipped cream commonly used on Asian-style cakes.

SERVINGS
A standard 6” / 8” / 10” tiered cake serves approximately 50 guests. We consider this a display cake, and additional servings can be supplemented with side cakes.
Side cakes are ¼ sheet cakes with a clean white finish. They are not displayed and will be provided on a white cardboard board. Please refer to our cake ordering guide for detailed serving sizes.
Based on years of experience attending and catering weddings, we typically recommend ordering 20–30% fewer servings than your total guest count, especially for larger events. While this may feel counterintuitive, many guests do not end up eating cake due to factors such as a full dinner, dancing, early departures, or simply not realizing cake is being served.
We share this guidance to help reduce waste and manage costs for you, but you know your guests best and are welcome to order the amount you feel is appropriate.
Please note that our cakes are filled with whipped cream, which means they have a shorter shelf life. If left out at room temperature—particularly during warmer months—we do not recommend saving leftovers.

DOUGHNUTS
Our capacity for wedding doughnut orders is limited to 100 doughnuts (no exceptions).
Mini doughnuts and doughnut holes are a great option for weddings, as they are just a few bites each. Three doughnut holes are equivalent to one doughnut when calculating totals.
You’re welcome to browse our Instagram for past flavors to get a sense of options. Please note that some flavors are seasonal and may not always be available. Feel free to reach out with flavor inquiries, and we’ll let you know what is possible for your date.

DELIVERY
Delivery is available at a rate of $50 per hour for round-trip travel from our shop (2301 E Union St), plus one hour for on-site setup.
We require a designated delivery window, with 2:00 PM as the latest delivery time. Please ensure the cake or dessert table is fully prepared upon our arrival, including linens, cake stand, and any floral décor provided by your florist.
Once on site, we will assemble and stack the cake on the platter and complete any final decorative touches as needed. We recommend scheduling delivery before guests arrive.
The cake does not require refrigeration if kept in a cool, temperature-controlled room. However, it must not be placed in direct sunlight. If the space is expected to be warm, please arrange for refrigeration until closer to serving or cake cutting.
Each cake tier is approximately 4 inches tall. Please account for the total height of all tiers plus the cake stand when determining refrigerator space.
FREERY TRAVEL - Due to the unpredictability of ferry schedules and travel times, we do not offer delivery to locations requiring ferry travel. These orders are pickup only.
CAKE SIZE REQUIREMENTS - Three-tier cakes require delivery, as they must be assembled on site.
PICK UP
Cake pickups are limited to single- or two-tier cakes. Three-tier cakes require delivery, as they are not stable for transport and must be assembled on site.
For pickups, your cake will be finished on a clear acrylic cake board, which can be transferred to your own platter or stand once you arrive at the venue.
You are welcome to have someone else pick up your order. If so, please provide the name and contact information of the designated pickup person, in case we need to reach them on the day of the event.
Based on your order, please ensure the pickup vehicle has a flat, level surface for transporting the cake and/or doughnuts. Seats are not recommended, as they are slanted and can cause shifting during transport.

Note to the Person Picking Up the Cake
Transporting the cake is an important responsibility, and we appreciate your help in ensuring it arrives safely.
The cake will be securely packaged for transport. Please place it on a flat, stable surface in the vehicle—ideally on the floor of the front passenger seat. If transporting the cake in the trunk, be sure it cannot slide, tip, or have any items fall onto it, and that it is not exposed to direct sunlight.
If traveling a longer distance, we recommend keeping the car cool. Dress warmly and run the air conditioning toward the footwell or throughout the car to help maintain a stable temperature.
Drive carefully and defensively, avoiding sudden stops, sharp turns, or quick accelerations to ensure the cake arrives in perfect condition.
PLATTER
The stand or platter must be flat and at least 2 inches larger than the diameter of the largest tier.
Example: An 8” cake requires a stand or platter that is 10” in diameter or larger and completely flat.
If your wedding cake is being delivered, please ensure the stand or platter is at the designated spot on site where the cake should be placed and that the area is ready at the scheduled delivery time.
For pickups, the cake will be provided on an acrylic board. You may transfer the cake to your own stand or platter once on site.

DECOR
All cakes are decorated with Swiss buttercream. We’re happy to work with couples to achieve the look you’re envisioning and ask that you share inspiration photos of your desired cake style. Once reviewed, we’ll confirm what we’re able to offer and whether any additional labor charges may apply.
FLOWERS
Fresh floral décor may be added to your cake.
For delivery orders, we recommend asking your florist to set aside flowers for the cake; we’re happy to place them at no additional charge.
For pickup orders, you may either bring your own flowers or have us source them for a $30 fee. When we provide the flowers, we cannot guarantee specific varieties or colors, but we will do our best to match the colors and overall vibe of your inspiration images.
BOOKING
We book orders up to 6 months in advance. You’re welcome to reach out earlier with questions, but orders are only confirmed within the 6-month window. Some dates do fill quickly, so we recommend submitting your order as soon as you know you want to use us.
Please include as much detail as possible when completing the order form including links to photos. After reviewing your submission, we’ll follow up and talk through all the details with you.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST… PAYMENT
We do not require a deposit. Invoices are sent via email the week of your event.
Once you confirm that you would like to move forward with us, you are financially responsible for the full cost of the order, regardless of pickup or delivery.
Changes or cancellations may be made up to one week prior to your event for a full refund. Any changes or cancellations made within one week of the event will be subject to a 50% charge of the original order total.
